At Pakilistli, we promote holistic unity, which transcends the family and extends to the connection between each dancer. The basic rule in our academy is to work as a team, based on collaboration, equity, and mutual respect.

Parent & Adult Involvement

At Pakilistli Folk Dance Academy, we deeply value the participation of adults and parents who wish to support and be part of our community. We believe that intergenerational collaboration enriches the educational experience and strengthens cultural ties.

Active Participation

Join in our activities by attending presentations, helping organize events, or participating in workshops designed for you.

Logistical Support

Your experience and skills are valuable in helping your kids change costumes, creating accessories for the dancers, or being there for emotional support.

Continuing Education

Participate in workshops and classes about folk dance, culture, and personal development, promoting shared learning between generations.

Our History

Our Beginnings

Launched in January 2025, Pakilistli Academia emerged from humble beginnings as a small group of enthusiastic dancers meeting at a local community center. These initial weekly practice sessions soon blossomed into a thriving cultural institution. The name Pakilistli, symbolizing the joy and happiness, is infused traditional folk dance and culture. It was selected to resonate with both performers and audiences.

Growth & Impact

In the first half year, we've expanded from a small group of students to a vibrant community of approximately 45 dancers, supported by dedicated parents. Our performances have emerged as standout features at local cultural events. Through communications with schools and cultural organizations, we've showcased Pakilistli and continued to introduce the beauty of folk dance to new generations.

Looking Forward

As we continue to grow, our commitment to preserving and sharing cultural heritage remains stronger than ever. We envision a future where traditional dance and music continue to unite communities and inspire new generations.
